Writing music for Nordic Voices means pushing the boundaries of what you think is possible. Gisle Kverndokk has written a hero album for Norway's foremost vocal ensemble.
Through the collaboration with an ensemble such as Nordic Voices, Kverndokk has now been able to go all the way to the core of his musical expression on this release. Nordic Voices is attracting international attention, not only with its musical level, but also with its strength commitment to new music. They were recently named 'Performer of the Year' by the Norwegian Composer Association for their outstanding work. With this release they bring 3 new and strong works with them on their journey around the world.
